Creeper World 4 brings back one of strategy gaming's strangest enemies. The Creeper is not an army of units but a fluid: it pours out of emitters, fills valleys, climbs over ridges and crashes in waves against your defences. You build an economy from energy and mined wares, place weapons to push the flood back and look for higher ground, where your units see further and stay dry for longer. Aerial threats keep you from feeling too safe, and if you hold out long enough you can launch orbital weapons for heavy strikes. The story follows a scientist and companions restoring hope to a ruined galaxy one world at a time. Small maps can be played calmly with pauses, while larger maps run in real time with full saves. A mission generator, community missions and a map editor with custom units and modes add near-endless play.
