About Flock Around
Flock Around is a cheerful birdwatching game published by Outersloth and released on 24 April 2026. You explore Goose Lake Sanctuary, a colourful nature park that is home to numerous bird species, and your task is simple and relaxing: snap pictures of funny birds and fill out the park guide book. If you can see a bird, you can take a picture of it, so every walk through the reserve becomes a small hunt for the perfect shot.
The guide book asks for more than one photo per species. Each bird appears in various poses, and you need to capture them all, from the common robin to rare and exotic visitors such as the belted kingfisher or the red-winged blackbird. A camera viewfinder frames your target, and each picture receives a star rating with a matching cash value, so careful framing and good timing pay off. You can perform actions and use items, for example scattering seed on the ground, to lure in shy species, and different biomes hold different birds, which rewards curious exploration of every corner of the park.
After a trip you develop your photos for money and spend it on outfits and cosmetics, so you can go birding in style and give your birder a personal look. The park is designed as a shared social space, and groups of up to 10 players can wander it together, but the guide book, the camera and the outfit collection all work just as well when you explore at your own pace. Achievements, trading cards and mod support through the Workshop add extra goals for completionists.
