About Forever Skies
Forever Skies is a first person survival game developed and published by Far From Home, with its full release in April 2025. Your high tech airship becomes your mobile base, workshop, laboratory and lifeline as you navigate and explore an ecologically ruined Earth, where dust has engulfed the surface below. You build it your way, fly above the ruins and search for a cure, uncovering the story of humanity’s struggle and ultimate fall along the journey.
You can make the survival experience your own. Custom difficulty settings let you adjust individual survival needs, crafting costs, death penalties and combat encounters whenever you like, as often as you like, without affecting progress or achievements. Whether you want a hardcore challenge or a laid back journey, the game adapts. New technologies let you upgrade and expand the airship to reach new heights and venture further, and you can fully customise its interior and exterior.
Scavenging is central to every flight. You explore abandoned makeshift towers for supplies, materials and clues to the past, and harvest drifting debris caused by a strange anomaly to craft tools and upgrades. Science helps you thrive: you craft essential devices, scan and analyse lost technology to reverse engineer it, harness the power of lightning storms and automate resource extraction. Piece by piece you learn the fate of the crews sent on missions before yours.
