About Guild of Dungeoneering

Guild of Dungeoneering is a turn-based dungeon crawler with a twist, developed and published by Gambrinous and released on 14 July 2015. You never steer the hero directly. Using cards drawn from your Guild decks, you build the dungeon around them, laying down rooms, monsters, traps and of course loot.

Meanwhile your hero makes their own decisions about where to go and what to fight, so the real challenge is placing the right threats and rewards in their path. Every encounter becomes a card battle, and the question is always whether your dungeoneer will be strong enough to take on the deepest dungeons.

Between runs you manage the Guild itself, building new rooms to attract new classes of adventurer and expanding your decks with more powerful items. The rebuilt and remastered version includes the Pirates Cove and Ice Cream Headaches content, new classes, monsters, quests, hairstyles and victory traits, while the bard returns with his unique brand of snark.

It is a single-player strategy card game in a hand-drawn pencil style for Windows and macOS. It runs on Windows XP SP3 or later, macOS and supports English and Simplified Chinese. The minimum configuration requires Windows XP SP3, 2 GB of RAM and 750 MB of available storage. The game is rated USK 12 and is a great pick for players who enjoy deckbuilding, clever dungeon design and plenty of dry humour.
