About Haste
Haste is a high-speed third-person running game set in a collapsing universe. It comes from Landfall, the Swedish studio behind Totally Accurate Battle Simulator and Peak, and it launched in full on April 1, 2025. You play as Zoe, a courier racing through worlds that crumble behind her, and your job is simple to describe and hard to master: keep moving, read the terrain and reach the end of each level before everything falls apart.
Speed is the core of the game. Hitting the ground at the right angle builds momentum, smooth landings keep it, and a clumsy fall costs you precious seconds. Slopes, ramps and gaps become tools once you learn how to use them, and the camera stays close enough to make every jump feel dramatic. Four abilities add new options as you progress, letting you push even faster or recover from a mistake when the floor disappears under your feet.
The journey is divided into ten Shards. Each Shard is a chain of procedurally generated levels that you must clear without running out of lives before you can move on, which gives the game its roguelite rhythm. Along the way you collect Sparks and spend them in shop levels on more than 90 items. Items change speed, damage, luck, health and other values, so every attempt can follow a different build. Four bosses wait to be discovered, and an unlockable endless mode keeps the run going after the story.
Between runs you meet a warm cast of characters who offer advice, encouragement and items, and slowly reveal what lies behind the destruction. The art uses four bright biomes with several variations, from deep forests to pink deserts. You can also play the whole game together with friends in online co-op, cooperating to progress while level times are tracked for a bit of friendly competition. Haste is rated 12 for fantasy violence.

Versions for macOS and Linux exist too. Full controller support is included, and text is available in ten languages, including French, Italian, German and Spanish.
