In the margins of medieval manuscripts, the Inkulinati are masters of living ink who bring their drawings to life. You play an aspiring Inkulinatus, drawing Beasts straight onto the page: sword-wielding donkeys, bagpipe-playing dogs, praying rabbits and the odd snail knight, each with its own abilities. Battles play out on illustrated pages with several levels, ladders and hazards like fire and spikes, and every move matters, since pushing an enemy into a cauldron is just as good as stabbing it. Your own ink is a resource for drawing new units, and a fart from the right donkey can change the tide. In the campaign you travel a map, gather perks and Beasts and face historical figures such as Hildegard of Bingen and Death himself, with a local versus mode for duels on the couch.
