Iratus: Lord of the Dead flips the classic dungeon crawler: you play the necromancer Iratus, freshly awakened, and the heroes are your enemies. You descend through procedurally generated dungeon levels, crafting minions such as skeletons, banshees and vampires from the body parts of fallen foes. Turn-based battles reward smart positioning and a mix of physical damage and mental attacks that break the heroes' will. Between fights you upgrade your crypt, unlock new skills on a talent tree and equip minions with gear. Permanent death for minions makes each choice matter. Stylised fantasy violence against fantasy characters is shown.
