About Mortal Shell
Mortal Shell is a deep action-RPG developed by Cold Symmetry and published by Playstack, released on this platform in August 2021. It tests your sanity and resilience in a shattered world where the remains of humanity wither and rot while zealous foes fester in the ruins. Survival demands superior awareness, precision and instincts, as you track down hidden sanctums of devout followers and discover your true purpose.
The dead litter this tattered landscape, but not all of them are without hope. The lost remains of defeated warriors are yours to discover, and you can awaken these Mortal Shells, occupy their bodies and open up diverse masteries of combat. Each Shell changes how you approach a fight, giving you new ways to survive against enemies that spare no mercy.
Combat is strategic and deliberate, so you commit your sword only when an opportunity opens. Your path is guarded by desperate adversaries devoted to inscrutable gods, and you will face creatures both pitiable and grotesque in forests, caves and ruined halls. The game asks you to muster your courage, learn every foe and refuse to let fear halt your journey.
It is a single player game that offers 37 achievements, trading cards, full controller support and cloud saves. It runs on Windows 7 SP1 or newer (64-bit) and supports English with full audio, plus French, Italian, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Russian and Ukrainian. The minimum setup needs an Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD FX 8350, 8 GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon R9 290 and 12 GB of storage. The game holds a USK 18 rating and is ideal for experienced players who enjoy demanding melee combat, grim dark fantasy worlds and careful exploration.
