About Paper Trail

Paper Trail is a top-down puzzle adventure developed and published by Newfangled Games. Steam release date: 21 May 2024.

Paper Trail is a puzzle adventure about leaving home, set in a world made of paper that you can fold. You play as Paige, a budding academic leaving home for the first time to pursue her studies. On the journey you learn to fold the world, merging two sides of the page to solve puzzles, reach new areas and uncover long-lost secrets. What feels simple at first soon becomes devilishly tricky as you contort, rotate and twist the landscape. Along the way you meet a unique cast of characters, and the handcrafted environments – from deep, dark caves to rain-swept treetops – are drawn in a flat art style inspired by printmaking.
