About Pine Hearts
Pine Hearts is a cozy adventure by Hyper Luminal Games, published by Secret Mode in May 2024. Join Tyke on a hiking expedition to the sprawling Pine Hearts nature reserve and scale the mountain his father never managed to climb. Splash through rockpools, explore mysterious caves, clean up campsites, investigate old castle ruins and play on the beach as Tyke revisits childhood holidays and remembers adventures with his dad.
The reserve is an interconnected world inspired by the Scottish Highlands' Cairngorms, with beaches, catacombs, golf courses and caravan parks. Make new friends and complete quirky quests – judge a vegetable competition, conduct a brass band, help a ghost or dig up Viking treasure – while unlocking equipment at your own pace to open shortcuts on the Metroidvania-style map. It is a warm, thoughtful tale about honouring the memory of Tyke's late father.
