Humanity is losing a decades-long war against the alien BETA, and its last answer is the Tactical Surface Fighter, a humanoid combat mech. In Story Mode you play Shirogane Takeru, the hero of Muv-Luv Alternative, and the choices you make along the way decide how the story ends. Parts dropped by defeated BETA let you assemble your own machine, so your fighter grows with every sortie. Survival mode mixes action and strategy as a nameless pilot holding the line against endless swarms.
