Rebel Inc: Escalation is a political and military strategy simulation developed by Ndemic Creations and published with Hooded Horse. It left Early Access on Steam on 13 October 2021 for Windows and macOS.
You take charge of stabilising a fragile region after a war. Fund roads, healthcare, education and governance to win public support, while deploying troops, intelligence and local forces to contain an insurgency that adapts to your choices. Spend too fast and corruption and inflation climb; push the military too hard and civilians turn against you. Each region has its own map and challenges, and a range of governors with different abilities changes how you play. The full version adds a 1v1 online mode where one player leads the government and the other the insurgents, plus a scenario creator.
