Shovel Knight: King of Cards is a 2D action platformer developed and published by Yacht Club Games, released on Steam on 10 December 2019 as the final story campaign of the Shovel Knight saga.
This prequel follows the boastful King Knight on his way to the throne of Pridemoor Keep. He crashes through enemies with his Shoulder Bash, spins off their heads and sails between short, dense stages on a map full of secrets. Alongside the platforming sits Joustus, a card game built for this release: you collect more than 120 cards, outsmart the Joustus Judges and claim the crown. Feats, challenge stages and New Game+ add plenty to return for.
