About Slay the Spire
Slay the Spire is a roguelike deckbuilding game developed and published by Mega Crit. It left Early Access on Steam on 23 January 2019.
Each run starts at the bottom of the Spire with a small, weak deck. As you climb, you choose a path on the map – fights, elites, shops, rest sites or unknown events – and after every battle you pick new cards, slowly shaping a deck around a strategy. Relics add passive effects that can turn an ordinary deck into something absurdly strong, while potions save desperate fights. The four characters, from the Ironclad to the Watcher, play completely differently, and Ascension levels, daily climbs and custom modes keep it challenging for hundreds of hours.
