About Strike Force Heroes
Strike Force Heroes is a fast 2D arena shooter and a full remake of the hit Flash game of the same name. It is developed by Sky9 Games, the original two-person team behind the Strike Force Heroes and Raze series, and published by IndieArk, with the PC version released in November 2023. The old-school formula has been rebuilt with modern mechanics, fully animated cutscenes and voice acting, so longtime fans and newcomers can both jump straight into the action.
The story begins with a seemingly routine mission that goes badly wrong and leaves your squad trapped on a mysterious island. To escape you will fight through waves of soldiers, machines and challenging bosses across detailed environments, from airships and industrial sites to dense jungle. The campaign mixes over-the-top action with wisecracking characters and a twisted sense of humour that echoes the spirit of the original games.
Four distinct classes form the core of the game, each with exclusive weapons, outfits and abilities. The Assassin favours one-shot precision, the Tank soaks up bullets on the front line, and the other classes cover different ranges and tactics. As you level up you unlock new gear from a vast arsenal of weapons, abilities and equipment, so you can build a safe and reliable loadout or a risky combination that hits hard. Melee lovers and sharpshooters are both well served.
Once the campaign is complete, harder difficulties offer better rewards for your heroes, while Missions of the Day and special challenge missions add twists to the base game. The entire campaign can be played in online co-op with friends, and fully customizable PvP matches let you test your builds against other players. Strike Force Heroes is rated 16 for intense violence, blood and strong language.
