About Torchlight II
Torchlight II is an action RPG developed by Runic Games and published by XD, released on 20 September 2012. The award-winning series returns bigger and better than before, packed with randomized levels, enemies and loot. It keeps all the flavour and excitement of the original while expanding the world far beyond a single town and its mine. Once again the fate of the world rests in your hands as you set out across the land of Vilderan to face the threats rising from its ruins, temples and deserts.
Four classes give you a wide range of play styles, and each one can be played as a male or female hero with custom cosmetic features, so your character stands out. The vast overworld links several hub towns, and you fight through rain, snow, day and night. Level randomization creates new layouts, paths, loot and monsters every time you play, which keeps each return to a dungeon fresh. Pets and fishing are back in improved form, with more choices and better effects, and your pet still makes the run to town to sell your loot.
Mod support is built in through the Workshop, with automatic subscription and synchronization, so you can choose from over a thousand mods and bend the game to your will. You can also use GUTS, the official editor, to build and share your own content. Once you beat the main campaign, New Game Plus lets you start again with the same character for a much greater challenge while keeping all the skills, gold and gear you worked so hard for.
The game runs on Windows XP SP3, Vista or Windows 7 and supports 7 languages, including English, German and Polish. The minimum setup calls for an x86-compatible 1.4 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, a DirectX 9.0c graphics card with 256 MB of memory and 1.7 GB of free disk space.
