About Torchlight III
Torchlight III is an action RPG developed by Echtra Games and published by XD, released in October 2020. The story picks up a century after the events of Torchlight II, at a time when the Ember Empire is in decline. Novastraia once again faces the threat of invasion, and it falls to you to stand against the Netherim and their allies. You gather your wits, brave the frontier and set out to find fame, glory and new adventures across a dangerous and colourful land.
Travelling the frontier means crossing a vast wilderness full of dangers, from wooden docks and stone ruins to fiery caves and dense jungles. Dungeons hide powerful foes and plenty of loot, and every battle can reward you with armour, weapons and even new pets. The fast, readable combat keeps the pace high, while each region adds fresh enemies and bosses to overcome. Exploration and steady progress go hand in hand as your hero grows stronger with every journey into the unknown.
Building your hero starts with four unique classes and five relic subclasses, which opens up many ways to shape skills and maximise damage. Epic gear found along the way can be customised to fit the build you have in mind. Your own fort lets you upgrade equipment and renovate the place to show off your progress. Pets are back as loyal companions, and you can give them skills and gear, collecting species in a wide range of colours and styles.
