About Transport Fever 3

Transport Fever 3 is the full base transport tycoon from Urban Games, published by Paradox Interactive. You run a company that moves people and cargo across land, sea and air.

Routes begin with horse-drawn wagons, steam trains and paddle steamers, then later jets, supertankers, high-speed trains and helicopters. Every delivery earns money, and every vehicle adds cost. Maintenance, bottlenecks and the demands of towns and industries, including offshore fishing grounds and oil platforms, sit on the same balance sheet.

Towns grow from individual citizens who have a home, a job and places to go. Four climate zones shape the map: temperate valleys, subarctic swamps, desert plains and tropical islands. Dynamic weather and a day-night cycle change how the network looks and how traffic moves.

The Steam feature list includes tycoon play with adjustable difficulty and contracts, a campaign of historic transport missions, and a sandbox that can switch the economy off for free building. A map editor and an in-game mod browser are part of the base game. The official listing is single-player, for one person planning the network.
