About Transport Fever
Transport Fever is a railroad-focused tycoon game developed by Urban Games, published by Good Shepherd Entertainment and released on 8 November 2016. You start in 1850 and build a thriving transport company from modest beginnings, constructing stations, airports and harbours and earning money by connecting places that need transport services. Over more than 150 years of transportation history, your network grows from early steam lines into complex systems that link road, rail, water and air.
Cities in Transport Fever evolve dynamically as you meet the needs of their residents, and industries depend on you for the freight that keeps them running. You supply factories, develop complete cargo chains and drive economic growth across randomly generated, modifiable terrains with realistic dimensions. Fully realised European and American environments, a sophisticated economic model and detailed freight simulation give every route decision a visible effect on the map.
More than 120 detailed trains, aircraft, ships, buses, trams and trucks are available, each with realistic simulation, colouring and ageing. Intuitive yet powerful tools handle railroad and street construction, and train stations, bus stations, airports and harbours can all be upgraded. The endless game lets you build freely, while the campaign mode offers a European and an American campaign whose missions of rising difficulty tell the historical context of the 19th and 20th centuries, backed by more than 25 achievements.
It is a single player game that runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. The Windows version runs on Windows 7, 8 or 10 (64-bit) and supports 13 interface languages, with full audio in English, German and Dutch. The minimum setup needs an Intel Core 2 Duo at 3.0 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 or ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 1 GB of VRAM and 12 GB of available storage. The game holds a USK 0 rating and is ideal for players who enjoy transport tycoon games, careful network planning and the history of trains, ships and aircraft.
