About ZED ZONE
ZED ZONE is a top-down zombie survival game developed by Leven Liu and published by INDIECN. It was released on 29 March 2023 for Windows. Your aircraft crashes and you find yourself trapped in the Zed Zone, a ruined region crawling with the undead, where every road, parking lot and abandoned building may hide supplies or danger.
To stay alive you gather materials, upgrade your skills and build shelters that can withstand the hordes. The crafting system covers more than 200 items produced at the workbench and lathe, from basic tools to heavy weapons. Guns can be modified through four slots with over 40 attachments, and eight spray paints and eight decals, plus custom designs, let you give each weapon its own look.
Base building goes well beyond walls. You can dig wells, place furniture, set up furnaces and workbenches and wire a full power system with more than ten electrical facilities. Spike traps, electric fences, landmines and barrel bombs turn the area around your shelter into a deadly perimeter, which matters when large waves arrive at night.
The enemy roster keeps every fight tense. Army, flamethrower and firefighter zombies roam the streets next to brutes such as the Juggernaut, the Breaker and the Fan Blade, while mechanical threats including the Spider Robot and the War Machine, and the Giant Mutant Lizard, demand careful preparation and well-modded weapons. The developer roadmap lists farming, a Cataclysm mode and a new island. The game runs on very modest hardware and is rated USK 12.
