70s-style Robot Anime Geppy-X is Implicit Conversions and Bliss Brain’s 2D side-scrolling shooter for PlayStation 5. In 197X the Cosmic Demon Empire assaults Earth with Space Beasts, and the transforming combat robot GEPPY-X launches from a Far East laboratory. The 1999 Japan-only title now plays worldwide, framed as 70s mecha-anime episodes.

Each episode carries opening themes, previews, commercials and end credits restored from original Betacam tapes, more than 8,000 hand-drawn frames. Transform among three combat forms for balance, speed and power. Rewind a mistake, reload with save states, apply optional CRT filters and hold to fire main and sub weapons. Original Japanese voices and classic anime theme artists play with subtitles in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. After the story, six extra modes include Boss Rush, Alternate Timelines and Experimental Episode Variants.
