About Splodey
Splodey is a precision platformer developed by Send It Studios and published by Mad Mushroom for Windows PC, released on 4 June 2024. Its big idea is simple and bold: there is no jump button at all. Every bit of height and distance has to be earned by throwing magical potions and riding the explosions they create.
That single rule changes how every level is read. Gaps that would be a routine hop elsewhere become small puzzles about angle, timing and the order of your blasts. Potions can launch you upward, sideways or across chasms, and they can also clear obstacles that block the route ahead.
The game is designed to welcome newcomers while still pushing experienced players. A gentle learning curve introduces each mechanic step by step, and infinite lives with quick retries remove the frustration from failure, so you can experiment with a route as often as you like without losing progress.
