About A Boy and His Blob

A Boy and His Blob is a puzzle platformer developed by Abstraction Games and WayForward and published by Ziggurat. Steam release date: 19 January 2016.

A Boy and His Blob reimagines the NES classic. As the boy, you feed your blob jelly beans and watch him transform into useful objects to solve puzzles and escape danger. When Blobolonia is threatened by an evil Emperor, the blob comes to Earth looking for help and finds a young boy instead. Together you set out to dethrone the Emperor in a heartwarming story told through hand-drawn animation. Turn the blob into 15 items, from the Caramel Cannon and Bubble Gum Bouncer to the Licorice Ladder, Apple Jack and Tangerine Trampoline, and travel through woods, swamps, caves and the Emperor's Citadel across 40 levels, with treasure that unlocks 40 extra challenge levels.
