About AER Memories of Old
AER Memories of Old is an exploration adventure developed by Forgotten Key and published by Daedalic Entertainment. Steam release date: 25 October 2017.
In AER you play Auk, a young shapeshifter sent on a pilgrimage across a world shattered into floating islands. At any moment you can turn into a bird and glide freely through the sky, then land to explore villages, forests and ancient temples on foot. Inside the ruins you uncover the memories of old gods and solve light environmental puzzles with a magic lantern, slowly learning why the world fell apart. There is no combat and no pressure: the focus is on the joy of flight, the soft pastel low-poly art style and a calm soundtrack that make every journey relaxing.
