About Before Your Eyes
Before Your Eyes is a first-person narrative adventure developed by GoodbyeWorld Games and Nice Dream and published by Skybound Games. Steam release date: 8 April 2021.
After death, a soul is picked up by the Ferryman, who wants to hear its story before reaching the gates of the afterlife. You relive Benny's memories – learning the piano, family dinners, first friendships, hopes and disappointments – and, if you use a webcam, every blink moves time forward, sometimes skipping a moment you wanted to keep. The game can also be played with a mouse. It takes about 90 minutes, deals openly with illness and grief, and has become known as one of the most moving short games of recent years.
