About Bloodless
Bloodless is a retro-stylish action adventure developed by Point N' Sheep, published by Shoreline Games and released on 29 August 2024. You play as the ronin Tomoe, who has sworn never to take another life and returns to the atmospheric lands of Bakugawa to end the reign of violence of Shogun Akechi, her former master.
Combat is counter-based and non-lethal. Armed with nothing but her bare fists, Tomoe uses her signature dash-counter to disarm her former allies in the samurai army, and you chain counters with disarming ki attacks and special techniques. Crests and herb infusions found across the land let you build your own fighting style.
Between fights you explore sacred nature and mistreated districts of a society shattered by past wars and ruled by a corrupt military regime. Warrior Idols unlock Arenas that push your skills to the limit, and the Namazu’s Wrath rogue-like mode sends Tomoe to a mysterious island to chase after her former self, The Slasher.
It is a single-player pixel-art action adventure for Windows with full controller support. It runs on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 (64-bit) and supports English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Simplified Chinese. The minimum configuration requires an Intel Pentium E2180 or equivalent, 1 GB of RAM, a GeForce 7600 GT with 256 MB, DirectX 10 and 200 MB of available storage. The game is rated USK 16 and is a strong choice for players who enjoy precise counter timing, samurai stories and combat built around mercy.
