About Cortex Command
Cortex Command is a 2D action sandbox with strategy elements, developed and published by Data Realms. Steam release date: 28 September 2012.
Cortex Command combines detailed 2D pixel graphics with an extremely detailed physics engine, so every fight plays out differently. You protect your brain, mine gold to fund reinforcements and break into the enemy bunker to destroy its cortex. Terrain is fully destructible, and a turn-based strategic campaign links the tactical battles, with persistent maps that keep the scars, debris and ruins of earlier fights. Several technology factions offer their own soldiers, mechs, weapons, tools and landing craft. The game contains intense, detailed violence against human-like soldiers.
