In Between is a puzzle platformer developed by Gentlymad and published by Assemble Entertainment (Headup Games). Steam release: 21 August 2015.
The game takes place inside the head of a man who has just received devastating news. Each room is a single-screen puzzle where you rotate the direction of gravity to reach the exit while avoiding a creeping darkness. The chapters follow the stages of grief, and every stage adds a new mechanic that reflects the emotion behind it, framed by narrated story scenes.
