In Legend of Grimrock a group of prisoners is exiled to the secluded Mount Grimrock for crimes they may or may not have committed. The mountain is riddled with ancient tunnels, dungeons and tombs, and the only way to freedom is to form a team and descend through it level by level. The game brings back old-school challenge with tactical real-time combat and grid-based movement, devious hidden switches and secrets, deadly traps and horrible monsters. Puzzles and exploration matter as much as your sword arm, and an optional Oldschool Mode turns off the automap for players who want to draw their own maps.
