About Pax Augusta
Pax Augusta is a historical city-building simulation set in the Roman Empire, created single-handedly by Swiss developer Roger Gassmann over seven years and published by Senatis in April 2025. As an ambitious governor in the age of Emperor Augustus, you found new cities along the empire’s freshly conquered borders.
You start with a small settlement on a new imperial road, attract settlers with a harbour and a forum, mine raw materials and build baths, theatres, temples and gladiator schools to keep citizens employed and entertained. Fire, corruption, unrest and the emperor’s whims test your leadership, while trade agreements, a growing private fortune and new public offices unlock monuments and fresh building sites. Many buildings are recreated after real Roman sites whose ruins can still be seen today.

PC Version and Compatibility
The key is activated on Steam. The game requires 64-bit Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-6402P or AMD Ryzen 1300X, 16 GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 960 or Radeon R9 380 with 4 GB and 35 GB of storage. It is single-player, supports Steam Cloud and Steam Achievements, and has no controller support. Interface and subtitles are available in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish, with full voice-over in German; Polish is not supported.
