About Red Alliance
Red Alliance is a single-player dark action thriller with elements of horror, developed and published by 2ndUp Studios and released for Windows on 10 October 2018. It is played from a first-person view and mixes classic shooting with tense, gloomy moments in a setting that feels cold and hostile.
The story takes place in Eastern Europe in the 21st century, where an oppressive regime holds power. Dr. Grey seeks to achieve mind control, and mercenaries are used under the excuse of a disease outbreak. Together with an ally, the player tries to reach the rebellion group known as Red Alliance before it is too late.
The campaign is divided into nine chapters. You can rely on old-school gunplay or choose optional stealth to slip past danger, while random events keep stretches of each level from playing the same way twice. A separate arcade mode adds pure shooting outside the story, so you can return for quick sessions once the main campaign is finished.
Locations range from autumn streets between apartment blocks and snowy mountains to underground research complexes and a secret laboratory. English is offered with full audio, alongside Russian, French and Turkish interface and subtitles, and achievements are included. It is rated USK 16.
