About Reigns: Game of Thrones
Reigns: Game of Thrones is a narrative card strategy game developed by Nerial and published by Devolver Digital with Big Fan Games in October 2018. It combines the award winning HBO series Game of Thrones with the swipe based Reigns series. Through the fiery visions of Melisandre, you claim the Iron Throne as Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen and other famous characters, and try to steer the Seven Kingdoms through a dangerous age.
Every turn shows a card with a character and a request. You swipe left or right to answer, and each choice shifts the favour of the faith, the people, the army and the treasury. Let one of them grow too strong or too weak and your reign ends, often in a surprising way. Ruthless tactics, clever charm and careful timing help you outwit rivals, keep fickle bannermen loyal and maybe survive the horrors of the coming winter.
You can switch between the kings and queens you unlock, and each of them brings challenges and mysteries unique to their own story. Familiar faces such as Tyrion Lannister and Sansa Stark appear with new requests, while tournaments, feasts and plots create memorable moments. Clean flat art, short turns and witty writing make each reign quick to play, yet the many endings and hidden goals keep you coming back for another try.
It is a single player game that offers 10 achievements and full controller support. It runs on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 as well as macOS and Linux, and supports English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian and Chinese. The minimum setup needs an Intel Pentium D 830, 1 GB of RAM, a GeForce GT 610 with 1 GB and 500 MB of storage, so it suits almost any PC. The game holds a USK 12 rating and is ideal for viewers who loved the series and for players who enjoy short, clever choices with big consequences.
