SWAPMEAT is a fast roguelite shooter developed and published by One More Game and released in June 2026. You play as Squishy, a shape shifting operative of Rangus Corp who adapts to enemies by literally taking them apart. Heads, torsos and legs can all be stolen from the aliens you defeat, and every one of those body parts comes with its own unique power. Mixing and matching them creates thousands of possible strategic combinations, which makes you harder to kill and turns each fight into a puzzle of what to wear next. Whatever enemy you encounter, the answer is often hanging off its own body.
The developers sum up the core idea with a joke: if you have ever threatened to break someone’s arm and beat them with it, this is that mechanic in action. Every limb and extremity you equip changes your strategy on the spot, and rapid adaptation is the key to success. Equip Squat Daddy legs to jump and butt slam enemies, or put on an Octo Swirl head that shoots in all directions. This upgrade path lets you evolve strategically in the middle of combat, stealing abilities and turning them against the very aliens that carried them, which gives the shooting a playful and constantly shifting rhythm.
Combat is fast and relentless. You work with whatever drops and learn to thrive in unpredictability while under constant siege by alien weirdos. Waves of screwball enemies threaten to overwhelm you, but every weapon can be stolen for yourself, and you dodge, shoot and swap your way through escalating chaos while racing against the clock to complete objectives. Each mission throws new enemies, random events and unexpected part combinations at you, so no two runs are ever the same, and every death teaches you something new. Research brought back to HQ can be cashed in for weapon unlocks, new perks and company approved improvements, so you grow stronger between runs.
Missions drop you onto random and bizarre planets, from an urban speedway thick with hungry mutant speedsters to a planetary cookout overrun by hostile aliens, with vivid landscapes strewn with the ruins of galactic capitalism, ancient tech and nineties references. You can survive runs alone or recruit up to three friends, and dynamically scaling difficulty makes the game harder when players join and easier when they leave. Four difficulty levels range from Casual to Nightmare. The game offers full controller support, achievements, trading cards and cloud saves. It runs on Windows 10 and supports English, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese.
