About Sandwalkers
Sandwalkers is a roguelike turn-based exploration game developed by Goblinz Studio and published by Goblinz Publishing and H2 Interactive in April 2025. Every decade, the Mka tribe sends caravans of adventurers into the Phithi, a meteorological chaos that keeps the Uwando tribes isolated and makes life outside the refuges almost impossible. Your caravan sets out to explore, survive and find a way to bring hope back.
The mission is ambitious. Caravans must establish diplomatic and trade relations, reclaim lands left to monsters and pirates and, most importantly, plant a new tree city that can shelter the Mka and their allies. Whatever happens, they send the memories they gain back to the capital using crystospheres carried by travelling beetles, so knowledge from one expedition helps the next.
You build your team, equip each adventurer and guide the caravan across varied hostile landscapes on a hex map. Turn-based battles pit you against hordes of pirates, wizards and monsters, while acid rain, storms and heat waves test your supplies. Events ask you to rescue refugees, seek allies and stir up the past in search of the causes of the Phithi, all to find and resurrect the Mother Tree Umama.
It is a single player game that offers 24 achievements and runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. The Windows version runs on Windows 7 (64-bit) and supports English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. The minimum setup needs a Core i3 or equivalent, 2 GB of RAM, a DirectX 11 or OpenGL 3.3 compatible graphics card and 1 GB of storage.
