Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is a first- and third-person action game developed by Raven Software and published by LucasArts. It first came out in 2002 and was released on Steam on 16 September 2009.
Kyle Katarn, a mercenary who once turned his back on the Force, is pulled back into the fight when an Imperial remnant starts experimenting with dark powers. The early missions play like a classic shooter with blasters and thermal detonators, until Kyle regains his lightsaber and the game shifts to tense, physics-driven duels where timing and stance matter. Force Push, Pull, Grip, Mind Trick and Lightning open up new ways through levels and fights, and Luke Skywalker and Lando Calrissian both appear. Multiplayer modes include duels, Capture the Flag and Jedi Master.
