As the leader of a band of soldiers-for-hire in the harsh realm of Caelum, you hire recruits, manage money and supplies, and accept dangerous contracts to build your company's renown. Battles take place on hex grids full of traps, hazards and destructible objects, so careful positioning and planning decide every fight. Time keeps moving as you travel: years pass, mercenaries age, retire and die, and new heroes must carry the banner forward. The world of Caelum changes dynamically along the way, opening new storylines that make each campaign unpredictable.
