Zefyr: A Thief's Melody is an action adventure developed and published by Oneiric Worlds, released on 2 June 2025. In a colourful archipelago you play as a young thief studying at the Guild. Children have been going missing, pirates roam the seas, and you set out to investigate the kidnappings and uncover the truth. The game is a warm tribute to classic 3D adventures, mixing exploration, dialogue, fights, puzzles, collectibles and huge boss battles inside a bright world with a calm and contemplative mood.
You can run, jump and climb wherever you want, and every island hides paths, ledges and secrets to reach. To travel across the ocean you ride a cute sea turtle, which turns each crossing into a small journey of its own. Pirates, guards, robots and rival thieves stand in your way during missions, and you are free to stay hidden and slip past them or charge straight into a fight. Choosing the right approach for each situation is part of the fun.
Along the way you learn many skills, including climbing, stealth, fighting, the bow, bombs and a grapple, so new areas keep opening up. Ancient Guardians wait across the archipelago; some block your road while others are well hidden, and bringing peace back to these giant creatures leads to the biggest battles in the game. Side quests add even more to do, such as curing sick animals with fruit and collecting gemstones, flowers and lost paintings. The whole adventure was created by a single developer who also wrote the music.
The game runs on Windows 7 (64-bit) and supports 5 languages, including English, French and Spanish. The minimum setup calls for a 64-bit 2.4 GHz processor, 16 GB of RAM, a graphics card with 4 GB of memory, DirectX 9.0 and 6 GB of free disk space.
