About Absolver
Absolver is a martial arts action game developed by Sloclap, published by Devolver Digital and released in 2017. In the ruins of the fallen Adal Empire you awaken with a mysterious mask on your face and faint recollections of an esoteric ceremony, chosen to prove whether you are worthy of joining the elite corps of Absolvers.
The mask is the creation of the Guides, the rulers of these lands, and it frees you from hunger, thirst and even death. As you wander the forsaken lands and encounter other Prospects like you, you learn new combat styles, acquire weapons, gear and armour, and slowly shape the warrior you want to become.
Combat is fluid and happens in real time. You position yourself in one of four tactical stances and execute devastating attacks, dodges and parries, while movement itself becomes a weapon. By arranging attacks in your Combat Deck you design a personal attack flow, then test it in solo duels or intense three-on-three melee battles.
It is a melee action game with a full offline single-player campaign that takes you from Prospect to Absolver against lost Prospects and legendary warriors. It runs on Windows 7, 8 or 10 (64-bit) and supports English, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese text. The minimum configuration requires an Intel Core i7-950 or AMD Phenom II X4 965 processor, 4 GB of RAM, a GeForce GTX 480 (1.5 GB) or Radeon HD 7850 (2 GB) graphics card, DirectX 9 and 11 GB of free disk space.
