About Afterbeat
Afterbeat (formerly Project Arrhythmia) is a rhythm bullet hell developed by Vitamin Games and published by Kwalee and Vitamin Games. Full Steam release: 8 October 2026.
In Afterbeat everything beautiful is dangerous. You steer a tiny nanobot through screens full of circles, beams and triangles that pulse, spin and explode in time with the music, and there is no shooting back: your only tools are movement and a quick dash. Learning a level means learning its song, because each drop and each beat tells you when the next wave is coming. The story mode follows two characters through a world that keeps glitching apart, while the built-in editor lets you build stages to any track and share them on Steam Workshop. Up to four players can dodge together in local co-op.
