About Arco

Arco is a pixel-art tactical RPG developed by Franek, Max Cahill, Bibiki and Fáyer and published by Panic. Steam release date: 15 August 2024.

Arco mixes the dusty mood of a western with a fantasy world inspired by Mesoamerica. Three handcrafted stories, each driven by revenge, take you through deserts of giant bones, dense jungles and frontier towns. Combat runs on a unique system where you plan actions while time is paused and then watch everyone act at once, so dodging bullets and predicting enemies is the key skill. Outside of fights you explore, talk to characters and make choices. The game features stylised violence and blood, crude language and themes of crime.

  • Simultaneous turns – plan, then watch it unfold.
  • Three stories – connected by revenge.

Related Games

Metal Slug Tactics is a natural fit after Arco: both take the turn-based tactics formula and make it faster and more readable, with pixel art that turns every move into a small action scene. Sea of Stars shares Arco's love of lovingly crafted pixel worlds and gives you a longer, gentler fantasy journey once the revenge stories are done. Despelote comes from the same publisher and, while it is about football rather than gunfights, it has the same instinct for grounding a game in real Latin American places. And if planning a move and then watching it play out is what you enjoyed most, Phantom Squad applies that idea to a modern squad breaching rooms together.
