About Conflict: Desert Storm
Conflict: Desert Storm is a tactical squad-based shooter developed by Pivotal Games, published by Square Enix and released on 30 September 2002. You battle your way through the Gulf War as one of the elite US Delta Force or British SAS teams, the best trained, best equipped and best organised special operations forces of their day.
The game plays from a first- or third-person view and puts you in charge of a four-man squad: Team Leader, Sniper, Heavy Weapons Specialist and Combat Engineer. You use their abilities wisely by giving orders or by taking direct control, seeking out enemy targets, destroying them and creating havoc along the enemy lines of communication and supply.
Across 15 challenging missions you call in air strikes, take control of vehicles and face enemies driven by detailed artificial intelligence in realistic desert environments. Your squad grows more skilled with every completed mission, and the missions themselves were designed by a former SAS officer to be as informative as they are exciting.
