About Coridden
Coridden is an old-school hack and slash action RPG with innovative shapeshifting mechanics, developed by Aftnareld and published by Anshar Publishing, released on 29 January 2025. You engage in intense action-based combat and transform seamlessly between your human self and one of several unique, fully fleshed-out monsters, each with its own skill trees and abilities. While exploring a hostile planet you find new gear and DNA strands, and your journey leads towards the dark secrets sealed away inside a legendary city.
Becoming a shifter is the heart of the game. You switch between human and beast form whenever you need the strengths of each one, and the beast forms are formidable in fights as well as useful for moving faster and overcoming obstacles. Combat rewards both your own skill and your character’s gear, so you learn when to attack, dodge, jump, shapeshift and use abilities against aggressive beasts, bandits and machines. As you level up you strengthen both sides with new gear, attributes and active and passive skills, choosing from four human classes and training one or more of the seven beast masteries, while elemental attacks and skill trees let you tailor every transformation.
The world of Heera is an unusual science fantasy setting. You take the role of one of four siblings, each with a distinct personality that opens different side quests and conversation choices, and beyond the main mission you can explore open areas to find hidden treasures. Up to four players can share the adventure with drop-in and drop-out play, and together you unlock a special team move: riding on each other’s backs as a strong cavalry unit.
