Garbage is a survival simulation with a comic tone, developed by Homebased and published by GrabTheGames and UpgradePoint. Steam release date: 4 June 2021.
Garbage shows the struggle of a homeless man in a humorous way. Things most people take for granted, like staying warm, well fed and reasonably clean, become daily challenges. You search bins and alleys for useful junk, craft tools and gear, manage health and needs and slowly build up a small crew of fellow outcasts. When words fail, fists decide: turn-based-feeling street brawls and an underground arena reward good positioning and the right skills, including the odd ability to summon heaps of garbage. A skill tree, quests from the locals and a gloomy city full of characters keep the run going. The game uses crude humour, rough language and frequent violence, and it is rated 16+ in Germany.
