About Hell Let Loose: Vietnam

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is Expression Games’ large-scale multiplayer war game, published by Team17. You join 50-versus-50 battles between the North Vietnamese Army and the US Armed Forces across six large maps inspired by real places — mountain gorges, thick jungle and river country.

Warfare is a tug-of-war over five sectors. Offensive splits the field into an attacking side and a defending side. Seventeen roles cover Commander; infantry Squad Leader, Rifleman, Grenadier, Engineer, Medic, Specialist and Machine Gunner; recon Spotter and Sniper; armour Tank Commander and Crewman; US helicopter Logistics Officer and Pilot; and mortar Observer, Support and Gunner. US forces fly helicopters for fire support and supply drops. NVA forces can build tunnel networks. Both sides launch armed patrol boats on the river network. Movement includes swimming, climbing and fast crawling, and you can drag a wounded teammate out of the line of fire. Team17 lists a tutorial and an updated interface. Online play is the core of these battles.
