Lara Croft GO is a turn-based puzzle adventure developed by Square Enix Montréal and published by Crystal Dynamics, released on PC on 4 December 2016. It is set in a long-forgotten world, where you explore the ruins of an ancient civilisation, discover well-kept secrets and face deadly challenges as you uncover the myth of the Queen of Venom. Every level is a compact, handcrafted diorama of stone paths, levers and hidden routes.
Each move happens on a grid, and the world reacts only when you act, so every step is a small decision. Snakes strike if you walk into their line, lizards chase you across tiles and giant creatures block your way, while crumbling floors, spikes, sawblades and rolling boulders turn the ruins into a deadly maze. Reading the patterns and planning a few moves ahead is the key to reaching each exit safely.
Lush, minimalist visuals and a captivating soundtrack set a calm but tense mood as you climb towers, cross glowing caverns and pass through jungle temples. Along the way you collect ancient relics and gems hidden in the scenery, and you can unlock new outfits for Lara. This version on PC includes unlimited hints and every outfit for free.
