About Magic Carpet Plus
Magic Carpet Plus is Bullfrog’s extraordinary flying action shooter, first released in 1994 and published by Electronic Arts. You fly just feet above real landscapes on the world’s fastest, most heavily armed flying carpet, with a dragon in front of you, killer crabs behind and a rival on another carpet trying to cut you to ribbons. It gives you all the power a wizard could ever wish for.
Your quest is to restore 50 shattered worlds. To do it you duel rival wizards and wade into hordes of deadly beasts, gathering mana to grow your power. Every world is a new challenge with its own landscape and enemies, and running low on mana at the wrong moment means you have to fight your way out with whatever spells you have left.
At your disposal is an impressive arsenal of devastating spells. Summon lightning storms and meteors, raise the dead to fight for you and, of course, cast the classic fireball. The terrain is fully deformable, so if those peaceful green fields look like they need more fire and thundering volcanoes, nothing stands in your way.
Magic Carpet Plus runs on Windows 10 / macOS and is available in English, German, French and Italian, with cloud saves on GOG. It is a great choice for fans of Bullfrog classics, players who love fast arcade flying and spellcasting, and anyone curious about one of the most inventive 3D action games of the nineties. Climb aboard your carpet and take back the skies.
