About Mordheim: City of the Damned

Mordheim: City of the Damned is a turn-based tactical game from Rogue Factor, released in 2015 and published by Nacon. It is the first video game adaptation of Games Workshop’s cult tabletop game Mordheim, set in the decimated Empire city of the Warhammer World. The game blends RPG elements, fast-paced tactical combat and intricate unit customisation in a time of chaos and rivalry where only the strongest survive.

After a twin-tailed comet crashed on Mordheim, the City of the Damned turned into a terrifying battlefield. Rival warbands fight fiercely for control of key neighbourhoods, seeking glory and fortune through the precious Wyrdstone fragments. You choose from iconic warbands, the Sisters of Sigmar, the Cult of the Possessed, the Skaven and Mercenaries from the Empire, then recruit new units and equip them with better gear.

Every skirmish rewards careful planning. Use the unique buildings, ruins and street layouts to your advantage, deploy your troops with care and anticipate enemy moves to set up ambushes, because the talents of your units matter as much as luck at key moments. Defeat has real weight: injured fighters can lose a limb or worse, and a unit that dies is lost forever. Loot weapons hidden in the ruins or taken from fallen rivals, and spend Wyrdstone on powerful items and new options.

Mordheim: City of the Damned runs on Windows 7 / 8 / 10 (64-bit) and is available in English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian and Spanish, with achievements, cloud saves and controller support on GOG. The GOG version focuses on the solo campaign and adds the Hired Swords DLC Bundle 2 with the Doomweaver and the Wolf-Priest of Ulric. It is a strong choice for Warhammer fans, tactics players who like permanent consequences and anyone who enjoys building a squad over a long campaign.
