A massive solar flare has wiped out modern civilisation, and the survivors look to you to start again. Begin with a handful of settlers in the wilderness and grow them into an industrial city, setting up production chains that turn raw resources into steel, tools and machinery. Keep your citizens fed, healthy and content, research new technologies and deal with neighbouring factions through trade and diplomacy. Storms, droughts and other disasters test every decision, so planning ahead is key to keeping your new society alive.
