In Overthrown you play a monarch who owns an ancient, soul-stealing crown with magical abilities. With its power you establish a kingdom in a perilous wilderness and defend it from mutants and bandits. You build anywhere and then manage your citizens to automate the work – and if you don't like where something stands, you simply pick it up and toss it elsewhere. The crown lets you lift almost anything, from whole trees thrown at the sawmill to monster nests dropped near bandit camps. Combat is fast and over the top, with lightning sprints and helicopter-like spin attacks. You stockpile food for winter, guard your farmland, keep polluting workshops in check and keep your people happy, alone or with friends in online co-op.
