Praetorians - HD Remaster is a high-definition remake of the 2003 real-time strategy classic, developed by Torus Games with original developer Pyro Studios and published by Kalypso Media. Steam release: 24 January 2020.
You command Roman legions through the rise of Julius Caesar, from campaigns in Egypt and Gaul to the heart of the empire in Italy. Instead of base building, the focus is on tactics: formations, terrain, ambushes in forests and a rock-paper-scissors balance between infantry, archers and cavalry. Sieges with towers and battering rams, three playable factions and online multiplayer round it out.
